“ One of the best Italian food I’ve tried. Spinach Ravioli was so creamy and flavorful. Their tiramisu for dessert is also next level. They could have done a better job at bread and butter (bread was not fresh). Overall it’s a great experience. ”
“ They have the best calamari, you gotta try it. The rest of the food it's also good, the mussels, i loved the angel hair with shrimp .. I Definitely recommend it. ”
“ Went here with my boyfriend for an anniversary dinner. The ambience of the restaurant has a frank Sinatra aesthetic lol. The food was EXCELLENT and we will definitely be visiting again. I ordered a seafood fettuccine special and my boyfriend ordered rigatoni bolognese. Both dishes were exceptional as well as the cannolis. It was my first time trying them so I don’t have much to compare them to but they were quite delicious. I must admit the service was a bit suffocating and different servers were taking our orders at different times, asking the same questions and we were a bit confused. Nonetheless we left happy with our bellies filled and satisfied. I definitely recommend. ”
“ We have been dining at Sophias since Sophia was a toddler. We've never had a disappointing meal and the service is always friendly and prompt. I highly recommend the mussels sambuca appetizer, to die for and their usual chicken special is always a winner with plenty to take home. ”
“ I recently hosted a private party for a joint 60th birthday at Sofia's. It couldn't have went better! Ricky, Jason and their team were extremely helpful with the success of the party. From rearranging tables for me, to setting up a drink station with all the BYOB wine, beer and Sangria I brought. Family style food for the large party of 50 worked out wonderful! Salad, Penne ala Vodka Sauce, Meatballs, Mozzarella and Roasted Red Peppers, Stuffed Eggplant with Ricotta Cheese, Chicken Francese and Steak Giambotta, each course served hot and timely. All food was amazing. Thank you again to all the staff, Sofia's was a great choice. ”
“ We ordered catering for a party in our home this weekend. Everything was incredible. The rigatoni vodka was a hit. The amount of food, quality, and pricing was great. It wasn’t “basic Italian”. ”
“ We dined with friends on a Monday during an odd time of day — about 2 pm. Nevertheless, the food was delicious and service impeccable. I recommend the chicken francaise which was so tender and had just the right blend lemon tartness — not too tart, not too bland. This is one of the best Italian restaurants in New Jersey, and that’s saying a lot since we have many fine Italian restaurants in the Garden State. ”
“ My children held a retirement party for me this past Saturday. The food was delicious, starting with the appetizers, the dinner entrees which included eggplant parm, chicken francese, veal marsala and penne vodka as well as the desserts. Everyone who attended thoroughly enjoyed the food. The staff was friendly and attentive. Look forward to going back. ”
